ArtRebels launch
REBEL TIMES – BUSINESS UNUSUAL
Issue # 2
As Founder and CEO of Copenhagen-based creative company ArtRebels, I’ve always secretly dreamed of making a business magazine for creative and cultural entrepreneurs. Eight months ago, I got tired of dreaming and had the crazy idea to just get up and make it happen.
I gathered together an amazing team of Rebels (who all worked pro bono on the project) and the first issue of the biannual magazine
Rebel Times - Business Unusual came to life. Everybody seemed to love it. From students to CEO's, the magazine received much praise, not to mention buzz with over 90.000 online readers and 3000 print issues distributed.
Now it’s time to gather more amazing stories, art and inspiration for the second issue of Rebel Times, and we need YOU!
WHY BUSINESS UNUSUAL?
I have always loved business magazines. Having no further education or business experience prior to creating ArtRebels, I had to learn along the way and reading magazines like Monocle, Fast Company and INC inspired ideas that helped to develop my ‘Rebel’ ventures.
When I teach at creative schools around Denmark, one of the first questions I ask the students is, “
Who reads business magazines?” And it’s always the same – the room falls silent and no one raises their hand!
I wanted
Rebel Times to be the type of business magazine that creative minds couldn’t help but pick up and be inspired. That’s why it’s
Business Unusual - a magazine that celebrates those who made it and inspires those who still dream of making it!
HOW CAN I HELP?
Your pledge – be it big or small – will go towards printing and distribution costs (100,000) and will make it possible for a dedicated team of writers, photographers, designers and entrepreneurs to share the amazing stories that inspire them each day.
Most of all, you are supporting those who aspire to create, but need that little push and help inspire all the creative talents out there who might feel that being creative contradicts knowing how to run a business. Rebel Times aims prove the opposite is true by telling the stories of successful entrepreneurs, investors and creators and fill the gap in an otherwise conservative business market.
Rebel Times reaches out to creative people all over the world to let them know they too, can make their dreams come true.
If the campaign is successful, the Rebel Times Issue #2 release and reception will be held on November 8
th at Danish Design Centre.
Let's share our stories and support one another the best we can, because we can.
