CISPA is a new performing arts school in the heart of the old historical site of the Carlsberg Brewery in CPH. The school is a private school with a trailblazing agenda:

- we want to empower the performer by training them to become not only outstanding actors, but cultural entrepreneurs who take genuine ownership of their art and their careers

- we train actors within Contemporary Method Acting, a truly progressive approach to the Method Acting tradition, recognizing our roots but aiming for a contemporary application

- we have a distinctly international profile with dedicated students and highly specialized teachers teachers from all over the world, and want to create at root level an exchange of performing arts with the whole world from a local platform

We treasure the national, cultural, ethnic, social and sexual diversity, which is often talked about, but not so often implemented. 

These are the reasons why CISPA is a vital alternative to the state drama schools and a necessity for the Danish theatre industry.

Every year we make a play, to show the fruits of our hard work throughout the year and this year we’re proud to present Re: ORESTES, a contemporary rewrite of the original Greek tragedy. 

We need backing to realize this year's play and set the standard for many more to come.
